The hubby and I were looking at them today.
"Do you think we can dig them up soon?" he asked?
"I don't think there is any potatoes in there." I tend toward pessimism anyways, but I'd dug down a little the other day and didn't see any. I explained this to him and proceeded to demonstrate.
"They're down there, you just have to keep digging" he says. So I do. And sure enough I uncover a potato. And it looks like a decent sized one! "Want to dig them up now?" he asks.
"A better question is when do you want to eat them?" I toss back.
"Tonight works for me!"
So we dug them up and there were quite a few of them. Next year we will DEFINITELY use the 50 gallon garbage can!
Fried potatoes for dinner tonight!!
