Gardening on the Run Continues

I've been continuing to "garden on the run". I fill my milk jugs at night in the bath-tub, get up at 5:30 in the morning, throw on some shorts and water the garden before getting ready for work. That's about all I have the time or inclination for considering the nasty weather! I HATE HUMIDITY!!!

Needless to say, the weeds are running amok. Amok! Amok! Amok!Amok! But, the tomatoes are apparently unconcerned about sharing their plot with the uninvited and continue to spread out in that way that tomatoes do.

The alpine strawberry finally admitted it was too hot to produce. My tomatoes are green. My lettuce is dead. Oh! I have one snap pea. This growing my own food thing is not very success full. At least not right now. Come fall, I'll be overwhelmed. Must plan better...

Meanwhile, the cats can somehow sense anytime the temp falls below 80 (though not when the humidity falls below 80%) because they've taken to howling to let outside. This strategy hasn't been working very well for them, but they keep trying anyway.
